Newhall Kitchen Remodel Call (661) 592-2348

Who runs this site, and how a Newhall kitchen job starts

This website is a referral service. It writes the guides, takes your request and introduces you to one California licensed contractor. The contractor does the measuring, the pricing and the work.

Who runs this site

A referral service

Newhall Kitchen Remodel is not a construction company. It has no crew, sells no materials and sets no prices. Its job is to answer the questions homeowners in Newhall and the rest of Santa Clarita ask before a remodel, and to put each homeowner in touch with a contractor who does the kind of work described.

How a request travels from you to a written quoteA triangle of three circles. You, at the top, describe the kitchen to This site, at the bottom left. This site introduces a licensed contractor, at the bottom right. The contractor visits, measures and sends a written quote back to you.YouThissiteContractor1 Describethe kitchen2 Introduction to a licensed contractor3 Visit, measure, written quote
You describe the kitchen. This site passes it to a California licensed contractor. The contractor visits, measures and writes the quote. Nothing starts until you sign a contract with the contractor.

From first contact to a written quote

Four steps

  1. You describe the kitchen. What stays, what goes, roughly what you want to spend and the year the house was built.
  2. A contractor is chosen. The request goes to a California licensed contractor who handles that size and type of job.
  3. The contractor visits. They look at the room, measure it and check what is behind the cabinets and walls.
  4. The quote arrives in writing. You read it, ask questions and decide. Nothing starts until you sign a contract with the contractor.

What the contractor does, and what this site does not

The contractor
Prices the work, writes the contract, arranges the permits the job needs, does the work and stands behind any warranty they offer. The agreement is between you and the contractor.
This website
Publishes the guides, links each figure and rule to the agency that publishes it, and passes your request on. It does not measure kitchens, order cabinets, file permits or send anyone to your door.

Checking the contractor yourself

California keeps contractor licenses on a public record. Ask for the license number at the visit and look it up with the state before you sign anything. The pages on kitchen code rules and what a kitchen budget covers list other questions worth asking first.

The pictures on this site

Every picture here is a computer made illustration and carries an "Illustration" label. They show kinds of kitchens and stages of a job. None is a photograph of a finished project and none shows a particular house in Newhall.

Where your details go

Your details are used to make the introduction and for nothing else. The fine print page sets out what is kept, how long and how to ask for it to be deleted.
